Major League BaseballThe formidable Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, landed in Toronto, and the still stellar Phillies reliever Jonathan Papelbon, went to Washington, these were some of the major moves made yesterday in the free agent market in the majors, of which the Angels went well armed, Tulowitzki went to the Blue Jays along with veteran reliever LaTroy Hawkins, in exchange for Jose Reyes, Jeff Hoffman, Miguel Castro and Jesus Tinoco.

Papelbon as a National will try to close those games, although Drew Storen has saved 29 games in 31 chances. the Phillies welcome Nick Pivetta. the Angels left profile strengthened its already powerful offense with three leftie gunners: Shane Victorino, David Murphy and David DeJesus. Victorino reached Boston by Josh Rutledge, Murphy comes from Cleveland in exchange for Eric Stamets and Jesus arrives via Tampa, for pitcher Edouard Lopez. the Royals got the versatile player Ben Zobrist and handed pitchers Aaron Brooks and Sean Manaos. the Mets Tyler Clippard obtained from the Athletics.
