New York GiantsNew York Giants bettors haven’t been to the window to collect in a few weeks now and the way that their team is currently playing bettors won’t be cashing in on them any time soon! With the New York Giants playoff hopes quickly fading away in week 16 they traveled to Baltimore to face the AFC North division leading Ravens. Just one week earlier the Giants were absolutely schooled by the Atlanta Falcons who beat them by a score of 34 to 0!

For last year’s Superbowl champion’s things weren’t too much easier this week versus the Ravens. The Giants entered the contest with the Ravens as a 1 point favorite as the public were betting on the Giants at 63% clip! The total on the Ravens & Giants game was set at 47 points and ended up landing right on the number!  Raven QB Joe Flacco was 25 of 36 for a total of 309 yards passing with two touchdowns.

The Ravens started quickly and led at the end of the 1st quarter by a score of 14 to 7. Joe Flacco normally not know for his running ability actually ran for one of those scores. The Ravens dominated the second quarter by the score of 10 to 0 and they never looked back!

The second half was more of the same as the Ravens outscored the G-men 9 to 6. Eli Manning for the second straight game was ineffective at best as he played like a shadow of his former self. Manning was 14 for 28 for a total 150 passing yards he was sacked three times. It ended up being a hard hitting game that the Ravens controlled from start to finish and it just might have been the nail in the coffin on the Giants 2012 playoff hopes!
